Fall Protection
Workplace injuries can often be attributed to inadequate safety measures, short cut procedures, and lack of proper infrastructure available. Fall Protection Systems come in many shapes and sizes - we design and manufacture per your specific facility, activity, and operational requirements. With a properly designed and accessible fall protection system, your staff can maintain a high level of efficiency while doing so with safe practices.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Fall protection systems are required in general industry environments when your personnel are working at heights of 4ft or greater. Rigid rail track solves the issues encountered by other fall protection systems like horizontal lifelines or cable systems. Those designs can cause secondary fall injuries from swinging, have reduced opportunity for self-recovery, and can also compromise the safety of other personnel utilizing the same cable.
Bridge
Allows for a rectangular area of fall protection coverage, designed and installed as freestanding or ceiling-mounted
Options Include: Dual track, multiple bridge
When to Use: Rectangular, square, large area, and or long distance of coverage, handle multiple personnel within the area
Monorail
Linear or curved paths of fall protection coverage, designed and installed as freestanding or ceiling-mounted
Options Include: Dual track, curved paths
When to Use: Long spans and/or single path of coverage required
Swing Arm
Circular path of fall protection coverage, designed and installed as freestanding or facility-column-mounted.
Options Include: Dual track, 200 degree or 360 degree coverage, mast style, wall bracket, wall cantilever
When to Use: Smaller and or circular area of coverage, sharing overhead space with crane systems, limited floorspace, out of reach ceiling structure
Fold Away
Linear path of fall protection coverage, designed and installed as freestanding or facility-column-mounted
Options Include: Dual track, mast style
When to Use: Obtrusions inhibit ceiling mounted or ceiling is out of reach, overhead crane access requires the fall protection system to be swung away when not in use
Freestanding Column
Linear or curved path of fall protection coverage, designed and installed as freestanding
Options Include: Multiple tracks, curved paths
When to Use: long spans required, significant work space obstacles, obtrusions inhibit ceiling mounted, single location for column/footing
Mobile / Portable
Small area of coverage in locations without permanent fall protection systems in place. Towable and battery operated
Options Include: Highway rated version
When to Use: Outdoors, fall protection systems or equipment are not possible and/or not present. In-field equipment maintenance, inspection, and assembly
